To all of you great guys and girls out there building ships, here are some tips.
1) make the center wide, or build a drop down (this means to make a cord like extension directly underneath the ship with a weight) the wide center gives you better stability through sheer resistance, while the drop down gives you a lower center of gravity.
2) DONT USE REGULAR BLOCKS. Seriously, they CAUSE SOO MUCH DRAAAAAAAG.
3) add some weapons! And dont be afraid to try new things.
4) ask for help! We have a great community filled with helpful players
5) post challenges and get stuff from them. Just remember to give credit if something is not yours. This applies to number four as well.
6) If you are building a small ship, make sure it looks good. On larger ships, give them a lot of cool toys and gizmos.
7) the bublous bow theory works! Just look up bulbous bow
8) use the fuselage block as much as possible
9) use the infinite fuel blocks
10) vtol makes for great hidden engines, to provide the bulk of your ships speed, while a small prop serves aesthetic functions

What fo you mean "regular blocks"? Like plain old BLOCKS? And if yes, do I just use thin fuselage blocks?
The ship we built could not touch the water
Curved bottom? Is it for stability?
