Okay, this is not TECHNICALLY a bug, but I've learned that the sliced fuselages still interact with the ground as if it was a full block. I am making gear doors (which look gorgeous, thanks to the devs), but the doors interact with the ground and are pushed up out of view and damaged, even though my landing gear are there. I hope you see this
Edit:
Okay, I just did some research, and I'm sorry for wasting your time, devs. Basically, they added a collider
(spelt just like that) as a new input under the fuselage section of XML. When you go to it, hit the + at the bottom, and write collider
on the left side. On the right side, you can put anything you want, NonConvexMesh
, ConvexMesh
, Auto
, and I believe Normal
. ConvexMesh
fixes the interaction with the ground if you do not want it (although, using the interaction with the ground could be cool for a hovercraft...)
The best fix could be a “disableTerrainCollisions” option
@SnoWFLakE0s thanks!
@AWESOMENESS360
.
disconnectOnly
iircI might be wrong. I know
None
makes them invulnerable but I forgot the other.@AWESOMENESS360 I FORGOT ABOUT THAT 🤯
.
I do not know the code tho lol
While on the topic of Overload, does anyone know that input on the
aircraftCollisionsResponse
value that makes it so that parts don’t explode, but they just detach instead?@Chancey21 look at the edit
@Chancey21 yesplease
@Chancey21 oh, agreed lol. I still haven't gotten it to work
I’m saying there should be @LieutenantSOT
@Chancey21 there is that?? I've been looking over all of the XML pages lol
Maybe send a bug report?
