The problem with cannons rocket's and pretty much every weapon that blows something up is once you hit a vehicle it falls apart not even the part that gets his blows up the whole thing falls apart they should maybe make it so there's a dent or a hole in the part that's hit or fix it so the build doesn't fall apart for the explosion also we need more weapons do i have suggestions for weapons not rly but still we need more weapons also this is a bit off topic but make it so we can select if something is a ground vehicle or not so we don't have to use air to air and such

    Yeah it's sort of the problem with the base weapons but tweaking the damage and impact force of the missile or increasing the health of the main body fuselage should ought to do something.

    Still that one hit effect, like @MintLynx said, is annoying. Even when there's still surviving bits of the plane or that it's still controllable, it's still dead.

    Dents or holes might be hard, but there certainly needs to be a removal of the insta-kill effect of explosives in favor of numerical damage. They already inflict it to NPC vehicles (ala the ships and ground targets) so there's no reason they shouldn't do the same to player made stuff.
