I am worried to join the beta cause I think it might remove my progress when I leave it cause I'm pretty sure when I looked up the join the beta feature on Google it said to use the public version you gotta uninstall it is this true?
Is there risks to joining the beta (I'm on phone btw)

welp the updates out for me now so I have no need to worry
nevermind I'm too paranoid
scared mobile user noises
I joined it wish me luck
Or is there a way to recover your saved planes?
i kinda said it wrong at the beginning, i mostly mean some complicated parts
however you should mostly be safe
@Beanman2011
@JeskoGoesVROOM what may this minor stuff be
you may possibly lose some minor stuff or etc but if you're not super paranoid then it should be fine
ok, so I found out the hard way that aircraft saved on the beta ARE NOT backwards compatible. However, if you make a copy of your build (Like the same name just with beta after it or something) you still have your old version and can still use that if or when you choose to leave the beta.
Even so, the beta aircraft will be available when the actual 1.11 update comes out.
But other than that, there's no real risk.
@Beanman2011 you can upload what you have unlisted, alternatively you can manually make a backup of the subassemblies and aircraft folder.
For the latter you need to use a file manager, your device probably has one but I like zarchiver. You can probably find how to do it online, but it's not difficult.
its literally a beta ofc you wont lose anything, even if you delete the app itself (only did it on iOS tho)
