Glass Fuselage Bug(?)

95.1k ReinMcDeer  3.1 years ago

If you place a glass fuselage and use fuselage cutting on it, the cut surface is completely transparent unlike with normal fuselage blocks. But, if you take a glass fuselage block, fuselage cut it, then change its partType from Fuselage-Glass-1 to Fuselage-Body-1, the cut surface stays transparent like below:

Glass cut out block on left, normal fuselage on right.

Can't really think of why this happens or of a use for this though, but maybe somebody else can?

Yep there is a setting called fillCutFace which is true by default on everything but glass fuselage, since if you're doing a cockpit with it, you don't really want that bottom face.

@rexzion Had a feeling it was some XML value I didn't know about. :/
Still I wonder how it could be used...
