Hello, and Question.
I recently got a new joystick. I have calibrated it in windows multiple times. set it up via SimplePlanes, and Calibrated it on Simpleplanes, and needless to say no luck in getting it to work. I understand it could be the joystick itself, but i'm curious to know if anyone else is using a joystick, what kind and what kind of success they've had. I'm using a pretty basic like $10 joysitck off Amazon, called a Thrustmaster.

i have a trustmaster to all the axis have been tested in the game it wont work stilll

@nathanmikeska the patch that was recently released i'm assuming had nothing to do with the controls updates you are referring to?

thanks for the input. Its seem the joystick is working fine per the installation, and running test via windows. I know its a cheap joystick so its no big deal. Hopefully the new patch release will make adjustment as per your comment. Thank you for the in sight!
@Meawk I can't say for certain because we've never tested that particular controller. I have seen reports of people having trouble with various different types of joysticks though. We are really hoping to resolve these issues in the next patch however.
I just use my xbox 360 controller with a USB cord

What exactly isn't working? Are you are able to bind axis and buttons in the configure controls dialog?
One of the major things we are focused on for the next steam update is improving the controls and controller support. Not sure when the next update will come... hopefully early January.
I have a logitech pro(Not mine) and it works in Warthunder.... Haven't tried SimplePlanes cause I don't hv on steam...
