there are some things that you missed and is wrong about:
1. you forgot the fact that the Gripen is easy to maintain, and it has STOL capabilities. It can also supermaneuver.
2. you forgot the fact that both the F-16 and F/A-18 can carry alot of weapons, and an AMRAAM, which is ridiculously powerful.
3. The Su-30SM is a specialized version of the Su-30MKI specifically for the Russian Air Force.
4. No, assuming it's not the MiG-29OVT, the MiG-29 does NOT have a thrust vectoring.
As for my vote, I'd like the Philippines to choose either the Viper, or the Gripen.
These are reasons I choose the two out of all of them:
- The Viper is 80% better than the F/A-18.
- The Su-30MKI, while it is very good, it is very expensive.
- Lack of range on the MiG-29.
- Lack of thrust/weight of the F/A-18.
- Gripen's easy to maintain status.
- Viper's bubble canopy.
- Gripen's capability. Including STOL, supermaneuver, and the loadout capability.
- Viper's capability. Including high T/W ratio, HOBS, and loadout capability.
