Does anyone else feel that this game lacks content?

I’m sure this has been said many times, and I know this is primarily a building game, but there just really isn’t anything to do with the planes you build, especially on the mobile version where you can count the amount of AI surface targets on one hand.

We have pre-made scenarios already in the game, but there’s only like a couple dozen at most. why is that all the stuff we have to do, after over 5 years since release? Why can’t there be a simple, short campaign?, or better yet, a mission builder?

As I said in one of my forums, which turned into war, islands cause lag. It's a problem

Add multiplayer, then everyone is happy. And yes, content flow does seem a bit like a leaky facet. I'm going to get so many replies to this telling me how multiplayer would be too hard to implement and just be happy with what you have blah blah blah. Or not, because I just said that.

I think we have to remember that the Jundroo team is only around 5 guys all with lives and families.

I have to disagree with your stance. There is so much to do in SimplePlanes, you have have to a bit of design, engineering, and testing. If you find yourself bored, I believe you haven't fully used your engineering and creative abilities. All you have to ask yourself is "what if".

However, with that being said, I do like the mission builder idea. Though it may be hard to implement into SimplePlanes, since the sandbox map is so large.

A mission editor with the ability to spawn in multiple enemy planes, as well as friendly allied ones would be amazing

Me too, While remaining as one of my favorite games, i feel like theres a lack of content. Ugly landscape in the map (at least my mobile runs the game a little bit better and there a plenty of custom maps available for android/ios in the website), no GPWS/TCAS, bad optimization, no city, no proper lighting of the build or map. I hope jundroo may consider this, or at least some of the missing features i mentioned (incase potatoes like mine cant run them) also they should fix the map and add cities with lights and a proper road system and more islands (trees should be turned on in the settings if you have a powerful phone or computer)

With enough work, yeah, it could feel a lot more complete. It's fine as it is, but you know there's also a lot more that be be done in audio, and music, to give it that extra punch.

Oh, and the map could have more land and more actual... buildings..?

@jamesPLANESii , this game is pretty cartoony, and tbh i like the map because it helps us potato players run the game better

SimplePlanes was not made to be an AAA title, nor do any of the developers have time and money to put the features you described in the game?

According to Wikipedia, reviewers have a somewhat mixed to average. The reviewers praised the realistic campaigns and the sandbox mode, but criticized the game for it’s controls and the building methods. It should be known that it may have been pretty obsolete, since SimplePlanes received a lot of updates that improve it’s gameplay.
