@jamesPLANESii android maps used to work beyond 1.9 but a month ago Jundroo removed all map downloads for Android even maps with no code (I think google released another policy regarding SP 1.9 supported Android maps)
There are a couple of maps that work for android, but you have to go looking, since the way android mods used to work had to be changed due to Google's policies about 2 years ago.
