I just wanted to remind everyone that if you upload a build with a cool cockpit that works well in VR, don't forget to tag it with the VR tag. We review all crafts tagged with VR and consider them for curation. If your craft is curated, it will show up in the airplane browser in SimplePlanes VR, which means more people will get to see it, and you also are awarded 2x points per upvote while curated. (The 2x bonus is a limited-time offer and will not last forever.)
If you make a build for VR, don't forget to tag it!

I don't have VR but I still want to find out if my Spitfire is VR compatible. How do I do that?
hi andrew i understand that the game platform had to unfortunately change but i love the game one of the best, but the best android simulator. I wanted to make a request how to configure the camera to see underwater please I beg and also a mechanism that can mess with full control of the game connecting to the aircraft. type example has planes and helicopter and military cars that the cannon can be aimed through the drag of the camera understands from there it is easier to connect with the aircraft itself. also ask to be able to edit the map itself if you have both Android and PC.
This is a little of topic but it seems that nobody know the answer to this question, in VR if you attach a gripable peice to another peice(say a bomb) would you be able to move the grip peice and the other piece move with it
@RC1138Boss wut?
@BomberBoy2 welcome
@BomberBoy2 ooh! Thats cool! Goood for you bud.
@Jamessaul17 You can either just plug your quest into your computer and just use VR like normal, or you can upload your plane unlisted, then favourite it, then go to the favourites section in your quest SP, and it will be there.
@jamesPLANESii lol I have it on oculus quest. Any idea how I’d go about it on that platform?
@MontgomeryGator each island is a single 3d model not including airports, there is no seafloor between islands, just empty void
@V umm....last time i check theres a seafloor..and i just glitch the orbit camera on the sea an inch
@RC1138Boss They curated my plane!
Then I shall pump up my builds. Argentinian Aircraft can into VR!!
Ok
@V ok
@BomberBoy2 when im cranking through large amounts of aircraft, about a minute or two, enough to see if the controls work and to see if its flyable.
@MontgomeryGator unlike SR2, the sea of simpleplanes is a bottomless void
@DieLoaf the 2x bonus is to promote the making of VR friendly aircraft, its only happening for a limited amount of time, likely ending within the next month
@RC1138Boss @MrShenanigansSP Ok, thank you!
@BomberBoy2 I dont think they will curate you. Im so sorry. I think there may be a minimum level but if you build a good plne they may take about 7mins? 12 mins?
@BomberBoy2 no one knows it might take a few hours since they will have to see the size performance cost pilots camera height cockpit size etc etc (idk am not curator and I don't know how they do it)
Does anyone know how long it takes for them to decide if your craft should be curated?
@ItsHighbraker2912 Sorry i didn't know it was against the rules
Hmmm this gives me an idea to release my new UiG aircraft for VR once completed that and released, I'll then redo my airwolf probably in the future I need to make more progress on the Cesena Dragonfly requested by @jamesPLANESii then once that is done ill get a build on the F-14 Tomcat
@Jamessaul17 If you have also purchased SPVR on Steam, ou can enable VR mode in the base game if you go to the main menu.
@SheriffHackdogMCPE yea wish it was like sr2 i stumble the sr2 website and my god
