Name: Cobra
Desc: An advanced close range fire and forget heatseeking missile, capable of multiple things. Has a range of 2 miles. It can also lock on to enemies after launch!
Features:
- Capable of LOAL (Lock On After Launch)
- Instead of the simple missile lock mechanism, how about we go to a different approach? I'll explain it later.
- Has an option for Off-Boresight.
- maxRange of 2 miles.
- maxSpeed of Mach 3.
- base maxHeadingAngleAdjustmentRate is 120, and base maxVelocityAngleAdjustmentRate is 100.
- maxForwardThrustForce of 15000.
- Chaff cannot affect this missile.
- 3 stages of tones, the 1st stage is when it's not locked. The 2nd is when it's locked, but not recommended to shoot (when target is outside the 8° range). The 3rd is when it's locked, and it's recommended to shoot (inside the 8° range).

IRST:

Name: Infrared Search & Track
Desc: An infrared camera that enhances the locking capability of the Cobra missile.
Function: Enhances the track of the Cobra missile.

Cobra missile locking mechanism:

Without HOBS:

25° Lock angle, will lock almost instantly. However, the closer the target from the nose, the stronger the track. It can lock on to three things: The plane itself, the sun, and flares.

With HOBS:

Same as last one, however when looking around, the lock direction will follow the camera, but the lock angle is reduced to just 5°.

If it's none of these, you can just go with 35° lock angle, and 2 seconds lock time.
