CHECK THE SECOND AND THIRD PAGE
Just a reminder that when the front page gets jammed up with low-effort meme builds, be sure to check out the second and third pages so that all the decent builds of the week don't get screwed over.
A lot of really great content slips through the cracks every time the community decides it's time for a cheap grab for imaginary internet points. Dont let that happen!
I have crafts that I have spent months on building and refining, but most of my best builds, (Like this one: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/Mm70HE/Fastazzo-P10-Manu ) get like 20 downloads, 1 upvote and no comments. Then I spend 10 minutes building a 13 part missile with andrews face on it and NOW ITS MY MOST POPULAR BUILD!!!!
The simpleplanes community confuses me
@Bellcat everyone likes humor but when we overuse it, it's of no humour
@WereOutOfNames, this is because some users want to gain upvotes or attention by creating poorly intentioned meme builds. Remember, when a trend starts it slowly becomes a fad overtime as people already exploited the trend too much and made it boring (although this is not usually the case). Do you remember the banana crafts fad that got so out of control a (now retired) moderator made a post shouting them to stop?
.
@ReinMcDeer, you could do a tag search anyways. In the tag search, you can select the tags to search the crafts that have the selected tags.
.
@JuanNotAnAlt, I feel this is cheap humor the same as you do. I do not find any of the weird memes humorous. I am unable to understand why. Maybe it is because of a humor that turns poor quality stuff into memes.
A tag filter would help with that too. You could filter out the Rick or potential Andrew tag.
I don't know how hard that would be to implement though
True @WiiMini
Why are you so mad about funny builds lol @JuanNotAnAlt
I do that now.
That's why I've decided to not post my builds now, not worth it. SP loves cheap non humorous meme builds than actual builds, what a shame.
