How to connect a jet engine's thrust to a gauge

47.2k MonikaAkiyama  2.8 years ago

Thank you @Kleesmilie and @Titaninferna for the tutorial! This post is just to make my own version of the tutorial

I'm gonna use my WIP B-27 for this tutorial

First thing you need to do is click the desired engine

There you go! you got an gauge that shows how's the engine doing but the thing is that, It will spin rapidly; of course you don't like this

It's the top right gauge

No problem!

You can either use / or *, It depends on you

Now that's the thing you want to see!

That's all

    To take this a step further and get truly accurate RPM, divide the value by 1000 and then put that on a standard, unmodified RPM dial. Then you have a dial which accurately displays RPM.

    @Rsouissi I'm not working on it right now and it is very specific to the aircraft.

    @PlaneFlightX thanks for the information but could you write the script for me?

    @Rsouissi Oh yeah...
    .
    Still thinking about the actual FT, but you take the code rate(Fuel) and divide it by the number of engines.

    Interesting. I see some science experiments based off this feature
