SimplePlanes/VR v1.12.123 is now live on beta branches for Steam, GoG, Google Play, and Quest (1.12.124)

To join the beta:

Other platforms will follow as they're approved, and new betas (if needed) will make it to all platforms.

This release contains bug-fixes and tweaks, and builds upon the 1.12.120 beta.

Please continue to use this post to report bugs.

Here are the release notes for 1.12.123/124:

  • Tweaks

    • Adjusted the ATV rim size to be bigger.
    • Updated the cylinder grips on the P-51-B to allow mouse/touch interaction.
    • Updated the cylinder grips on the P-51-D to allow mouse/touch interaction.
    • Updated Gator 2 to allow mouse/touch interaction for collective bars and door guns.
  • Bug Fixes

    • Fixed a null-ref related to the part damage visualizer
    • Fixed a bug where the resizable wheel would flicker when changing size or width.
    • Fixed a bug where the resizable wheels on existing crafts would lose their material assignments.
    • Interactable parts should now properly ignore the secondary mouse button.
    • Fixed banding on new resizable wheels.
    • Fixed a bug where the sliders in part properties would sometimes jump to their maximum values.
    • Minor kneeboard tweaks and fixes.
    • Fix to racing rim visuals.
    • Fixes to rugged wheel rim visuals.
    • Interactable parts that do not have any screen-axis bindings should no longer highlight, show tooltips, or capture mouse/touch input outside of VR.
    • Fixed typo in tooltip for Grip Toggle setting.
    • Fixed a bug with the VR grip-toggle feature not working right for parts that overrode the default grip control scheme for the part.
    • Fixed several bugs related to manipulating cockpit controls with mouse/touch input.
    • The hands will now go into the gripped animation state when grip-toggling an "air-grip" so that it's clear that they are grip-toggled.
    • The VR-grip-to-move-camera functionality is no longer impacted by the grip toggle state.
    • Quest: Fixed z-fighting for map on the back of the kneeboard

    This is a little of topic but it seems that nobody know the answer to this question, in VR if you attach a gripable peice to another peice(say a bomb) would you be able to move the grip peice and the other piece move with it

    Is there any plans that the rims are resizable independent to tyres so we can create small rim with thick tyres or thin tyres with big rims...
    Also the rims can be changed to fit in other tyre models...
