I have a question for the masters of SimplePlanes (people that make good planes) how do you make your aircraft look appealing? What kind of paint job should I use so my builds looks metallic?

I want my builds to look pleasing, knowing I had put time and effort, so please give me some details.

Apologies for any mistake and if this is a stupid question.

Just put it on semi-gloss. Or just, 60 and 40, Idk.
I don't usually put metallic style as a base color for my creations, because not only it looks bad, it's actually closer to what aircraft liveries looks irl.
Unless you're making a car or smth close, I don't recommend semi-gloss or gloss. Hell, in general, I don't recommend metallic colors.

@ZeroWithSlashedO what percentage of metallic and the other one do you recommend for that shiny metal look?

use custom paint jobs. If you scroll down on that paint job, you'll see some stuff you can customize.
