Autopilot question

Anyone know how to use autopilot without the vtol going back to square one? Because I’m making a helicopter using Vtol nozzles, and I don’t want it to just fall to the ground in mid flight.

I’ve seen some other people do it I just need some help, advice, tips, whatever you can give me because this thing looks sweet and if my chopper is a secession, I’ll make another one of the president’s helicopters.

I'm working on a custom autopilot with adjustable altitude, heading, and vertical speed. I am going to make a tutorial.

There isn't a way unless you make your own funky trees autopilot :/
Yeah I wish it didn't do that
