^^^ Yeah, I just flew a route around all the possible routes between the 2 islands, only the original 2 carriers. Are you sure you haven't mistaken it for the USS Jundroo/USS Beast?
Huh, yeah I haven't been keeping up with the maps, does the jundroo come from the old one towards Murphy?
UPDATE: U-2 swept a several hundred mile area around both islands, theres nothing out there cept the original 2 carriers. Also messaged the devs on steam and they said there was no new ship.
Just FYI, Murphy and Bandit are on the NEW map. The volcanic island is the new one. As for a mysterious new ship, I've not seen this. I will take out my U-2 to have a look, though.
