While other grips can be clicked and dragged around, the cylinder grip cannot be clicked and dragged around, which can make some vr-capable vehicles unusable, due to the ubiquity of the cylinder grip because of it’s simple aesthetics. Jundroo mentioned there is an XML that we can use to make it grabbable but it does not mention which. The differences of their XML, as shown in overload, in both gabable and ungrabable grips are none. Perhaps this XML should be enabled by default and be shown in overload.
Hopefully this sheds some light on things: https://www.simpleplanes.com/Forums/View/1540308
@EchoVehicle, are you referring to me or another person?
@Bellcat No idea, the devs mentioned something about "enabling it on xml" but i have no idea what any of the options mean. I even tried checking the gator 2's xml and found nothing. Maybe it will be added to simplecheats 2 later idk.
@Korzalerke, please explain how. I would like to know because this is important to those who want to create vr-capable vehicles.
Apparently there's something you need to set for it to work, i tested BaconEggs' Cirrus SR22 and the throttle didnt work but i can use the side guns on the gator 2. I also remember a update note a while ago saying the gator 2 was updated to work with this feature.
