I've seen a ton of vehicles with overlapping objects. My only question is How? there are no real effective tutorials. So I would like an idea how. Like wings and engines overlapping with the fuselage

On Android, transform part menu(in mirror menu) works. You just need to add it somewhere and change its x,y and z.
@laSoul wow that's easy. You don't know how hard it is on IOS. But I still manage to do it........
@Skua my simpleplanes game is on steam...how can I xml mod my planes with the help from command prompt? or is it impossible to xml mod engines on steam simpleplanes?
@Skua what is the part id for Blasto Bfe-150, and how do I multiply the power and efficiency of the engine using the dev console
@Skua I found out a way on mobile. When you overlap an object and it shows it red, move it into another position and then press the undo button, it actually locks the part onto your vehicle.
What to do is ctrl+f (or whatever equivalent search function you have) for:
Swapping the 1 out for whatever number you need. If a part is the only thing that colour, it will be the only part with "materials="1" ", so it should show up
@Skua Even though I change the color it did not really provide a distinct difference on what fuselage is which in the xml editor, So I have to guess.
@Skua Thank ye
Alright so for me it was Internal storage\Android\data\com.Jundroo.SimplePlanes\files\AircraftDesigns. This may vary depending on your phone, whether or not you're using an SD card etc, but it should give you an idea of what to look for.
I usually find it easiest to paint every part the same colour, and then paint the parts I want to edit unique colours. If I make the parts I can ignore all the first colour in the editor, they all get " materials=“0“ " in the XML. Painting the engine you want to clip the next colour, and the part you want to clip it in to the colour after that, will give those parts materials 1 and 2, so you can identify them nice and easily.
There's not really anywhere for a tutorial to be kept that everyone could find it easily, unfortunately. Clipping parts on mobile is a lot more difficult, because you can't use the nudge controls like laSoul suggested, but it's still possible. You're on Android, so xml editing is probably your best option. You can open the file for any of your planes in a text editor and change the values for positions/rotations/whatever else in there while totally ignoring the normal rules of the editor. I can't recall the location of the saves on Android off the top of my head, but I'll see if I can find out and get back to you
It's hard to get engines in fuselages. I would use the "add section" feature to add a fuselage section that extends into an engine.
@VaultBuster With I could help man, sorry.
@VaultBuster Ooooh okay, I see your problem :(
@VaultBuster Place the engine right in the center of the object, then play around with the number pad until you notice the whole engine start dipping inside the creation on a certain number. They control XYZ coordinations so it's easy to do.
@laSoul Yeah, It'd be nice to have a numpad on mobile...
@spefyjerbf So how do I get my engine inside a fuselage? I'm surprised no one has made a good tutorial on this. I want to get an engine inside a fuselage
Shrinking and growing fuselage blocks, using the mirror function, attaching fuselage blocks to other blocks in a way that they intersect. Also, only fuselages can overlap with other objects.
Use the number pad to swish around certain objects. They'll click together
You gotta experiment with shrinking and growing fuselage
