hey guys, I've been experimenting on canard fighter jets with almost zero funky trees put into it. It can fly but it turns slowly and isn't maneuverable, and the jet itself is as heavy as a Saab Viggen aircraft; is there anyway to make a fighter jet with the said weight more maneuverable without thrust vectoring or gyroscopes?
Fixed (Sort of):
I put CoM and CoL near enough for the aircraft to not rotate and hit it's tail upon spawning on the runway, Which changed a little bit to its maneuverability. Decided to change the aircraft's role instead
@SucyWitch
don't put them far from each other, that affects your maneuverability
@ZeroWithSlashedO I did check and it's quite far from each other. I'll just change its role to ground attack, but thanks I guess.
@SucyWitch
I said check, if the separation is big, then that's the problem.
@ZeroWithSlashedO I did separate CoM and CoL like what you've said, the aircraft's turning rate increased a little bit. Although It's enough to dodge an AI's missile, but it's not enough for dogfights since it's a fighter jet.
check your CoM and CoL separation.
