yeah that's a thing, it seems to be caused by playing for a pretty long time and camera zoom on the designer

This sometimes happens to me or I select a part and the game selects another part and yeah all hell breaks lose when I have to carefully use the UNDO BUTTON!!!

I think the reason it's never pointed out is by the time people have played the game enough and are engaged enough to start hanging out in the forums, were taking this bug for granted and don't care about it any more lol. Also it's only on mobile, and, well, PC master race...

This happens for all parts and has been a bug since the game first released in 2014... :/
