Just now I did a little "Tour" through the SimpleRockets 2 website, and something I've noticed a lot is how much smaller the SR2 community is.
I knew from the start that it was much smaller, but I was surprised by how different the size is.
•The user with the highest SP points has more than 4 times as many points as the SR2 one
•The post with the most upvotes on the "Year" page in SR2 has 50 less upvotes than the month in SP
•The number of downloads is low, at least on the "Year" page, as the Fc-912b has 72k downloads (and is the second most voted, although it has much more downloads than 1parts hud), while Flanker-D, the most voted post of the year in SR2, has only 9k.
And there are a few more things, but I won't put them here
Disclaimer: this post is not intended to say that SR2 is a bad game, I understand VERY well that it is a much newer game, I would even love to own SR2! this post was made only for curiosity purposes

yeah.. the SR2 community seems to be quite inactive.
The good thing about the SR2 community though, is that you can easily rise up in the ranks if you bring your building skills to said game and some good thumbnails.

SimplePlanes is older than SimpleRockets2 and SimpleRockets2 did not garner enough publicity than in SimplePlanes.
and tbh i think i know one or so reasons of why sr2 is way smaller
i do have more points on sr2 than here :/

I know this, even the Gold score is MUCH higher (higher than SP platinum, or maybe a little lower, I don't remember)
Do they have curators?
The ranks are also kinda weird, instead of the Bronze > Silver > Gold > Platinum you have here instead they have way more of different colors like green and blue. Plus they aren't as easy to identify since some look so similar.
