Missiles are too destructive in this game. Getting hit by one means having plane bits fly all across the map at around Mach 4. We have a damage system for guns, but a missile hit is still unrealistic. Could we get better missile damage?

proximity fuse and less explosionScale
however, having glass on your aircraft makes it extremely weak because the moment glass gets near an explosion it will break and when glass on your aircraft breaks it seems to disable any wing physics it had
Idk i think you can just dodge it or use countermeasures
@TheFlyingHusky Glad I'm not alone, fuselage parts act far too much like explosives and it really undermines the attempted improvements that 1.7 introduced.
These problems need addressed
The explosions in this game is just... Weird. Sometimes one part explodes and just damages the nearby part sometimes leaving a big gap, and the other times it just blows you into pieces, no questions.
The missile itself needs alot of rework to make it at least semi-realistic. Like:

@Tsuchiisan What's funny is that this sort of already happens. SP missiles do have proxy detonation, but rarely use it. The damage is like the WW2 flak though (not great).

Yeah, and also it's much cooler to have your planes engine on fire, with the other wing doing a death dance isn't it?
