So I conducted tests with a bomb that had the explosion scale up to 1700 and blew it up at snowstone from wright airport then i sent out a scout drone for recon. WOW WEE DOSE SIMPLE PLANES HAVE BAD PHYSICS OR WHAT! What I saw would blow your minds the bomb was powerful enough to kill the USS BEAST but yet the two bridges at the island by Yeager and bandit airport were still standing and yet they are closer to snowstone this is a surprising find and one that scratches my head as the bridge only takes one hit from a lil plane and collapse but when a deadly bomb explosion happens the bridges still stands!
Ah right @goboygo1
@Numbers2
Because It doesn't un-render, Its always rendered because its easy to render.
Obv.
Ive dropped a nuke on bandit airport and the bridge has collapsed @HuskyDynamics01
Then how come the USS BEAST fleet sunk? @goboygo1
In my experience, the bridges only collapse if they are directly struck by something (plane, bomb, etc). If you drop a bomb next to one end of the bridge (but not on it), it most likely won't even notice.
This has nothing to do with physics, Its because the bridges un-render when they are far away because they take computer power to render.
The physics in this game are pretty great, This couldn't even be considered a bug considering the game wasn't built to handle bombs with a 90 mile explosion radius...
Yes @X99STRIKER
Physics is very bad.
Yeah, SP physics are pretty good in a lot of ways but they fail in quite a few once you start messing with XML.
Especially XML bombs.
True lol @ZeroWithSlashedO
I mean 1700 explosion scale on a bomb is 1000x more explosion than a boom 50 and the boom 50 alone is enough to destroy uss tiny so like yeah
besides it's sp, what do you expect
Ik right @Phoebe
