I have tried restarting the game, turning on/off the mod, and I tried restarting my computer.
is there a fix to make sure it gets fixed instantly when it happens again?

With my experience, you can't. All you could do is to continue to restart the game until it allows you to connect. Besides that, you don't even need to restart, just wait for awhile and it'll allow you in.
Imagine having multiplayer at all and complaining when it’s down every now and then.
i have the same problem too, the actual server sucks because is more time down or the ping colapse
