Now, over my course of my time in the SimplePlanes website I've come across different things that have seemed questionable for people.
One of them was a repeated phrase used most commonly for ending arguments on drama posts. That is, "upvotes/points are nothing more than internet points/insignificant things to value". I can agree to that on some extent.
The thing is, ironically, some, if not many make effort into their builds for those points. What's the evidence? Even if how slightly or how subtle it is, even if it's for fun or for hobby (I consider it that way) see there's insert rank celebration posts/builds or forum posts with the title(s) "thanks for insert rank!".
I know it's harmless to do such thing, I've done myself too! But applying the philosophy "insignificant internet points" still, I'd say I'll disagree with that predicament.
For some or many people they value said upvote points, and I can see why.
When we see builds and think "oh that's so cool!" And upvote it. The builders, of course, are going to appreciate it.
It sounds pretty cool to flex your points on your friends honestly, it's pretty funny and helps with a healthy relationship.

Upvote points can motivate you to create builds, really bringing out the best of your creativity and the drive to make people enjoy your builds

Thing is though, there's been users who make detailed builds for fun and would say points don't matter, but can get offended or uncomfortable if they find a high-upvote build that looks mediocre. One such is Knight of Ren, who literally lived up to the game's name of SimplePlanes

I'd say points are cool

Again no drama intended, this was more of a ted talk or a feelings than a rant. Although I might see why users may misunderstand the context xd
