Hey guys i am trying to make a banshee from halo but while testing it is very unstable and when you try to turn and pull up it becomes uncontrollable. Anyone know how to solve this?
Alright so there's two things causing the problems for you. The first is that the CoT is really far down, so the engines are causing you plane to pitch up constantly. This can be sorta countered by setting the main wings to symmetric and the stabilisers to semi-symmetric, which basically just gives you more lift at the back to counter the thrust forcing a pitch up.
The other issue is the roll stability, which is caused by your main wings having a really big anhedral (downward dihedral). I'm still working on fixing that without changing the appearance too much, because I know that's what the Banshee is actually like
@Jasperjl alright, upload it unlisted once the site is working again and give me a link, I'll take a look and see if I can work out what the problem is
You need to get the CoM in front of the CoL (centres of mass and lift, respectively, just in case you didn't already know). You can do this by adding and removing fuel or dead weight to make it heavier at the front. You can also try to add more wings at the back (replace structural panels wherever possible, clip them in to the fuselage, whatever else) and replace wings at the front with structural panels.
@Skua If your still here, I'm in need of your help
@Jasperjl oh, one more thing about the fixed version: it's still pretty unsteady beneath 300mph, so be gentle on takeoff
No problem. We all forget stuff. Thanks man!@Skua
Alright, fixed! Changes are listed in the description. Again, I'm really sorry that I forgot about this, thank you for reminding me

@Jasperjl oh I totally forgot! Really sorry dude. I will get it fixed today

Yes it is,@Skua it takes off but when you try to turn it gets unstable and crashes
