Clay Lacy's purple P-51D he raced from 1964 to 1972, winning gold at Reno in 1970. Two variants will be available; the current "Clay Lacy Aviation" markings and the "Miss Van Nuys"/"Omni Aviation Managers" markings worn during the 1970 race (though with the post-race "1970 Champion" markings above the exhaust stacks.
Mustang based on the P-51-D. Race 64 was essentially a "cleaned-up" stock P-51D with a race-tuned engine, so I've made only minor visual changes while increasing performance and handling.
Snoopy in the rear seat modified from MAHADI's Snoopy "The Flying Ace". Snoopy was Lacy's mascot when racing, and can be seen in the Mustang in many photographs.
Now the question is, which version do I post publicly, and which gets posted as unlisted and linked to?
I was originally planning to post these today or tomorrow, but I'm going to be pretty busy this week, so they may be delayed until next week.
