How do I solve this?

8,878 GrandmasterPotato  2.4 years ago

I fix some issues with my plane, but when I actually fly it, I throttle up, move forward my tail lids off the ground, and then my propeller hits the ground and breaks, used flaps to solve this but now my plane starts rolling to one side while lifting off the ground, or starts turning to one side while moving down the runway, also you have to pitch up real hard to make sure the propeller doesn’t hit ground.
Anyway to fix this?

    @Aano78 Now I want to be clear here, the main problem that I can’t seem to solve is that I begin to turn to one side and can’t stop it, While doing that I have to pitch up to prevent breaking the propeller, I want to find a way to stop it from drifting to one side.

    @GrandmasterPotato P.S. send a pic of plane.

    @GrandmasterPotato I had a problem like this before, what I would do is is decrease blade diameter.

    @GrandmasterPotato Ah, I see. Well, unfortunately I don't have any solutions to this.
    I have had this problem with my aircraft as well, and this seems to be typical of these types of aircraft.
    You might try asking someone else, perhaps they might have a solution.

    To live the gear forward I would have to move the wings forward, and I do not want to do that. @TheFlightGuySP

    @GrandmasterPotato You could try moving the landing gear more forward (assuming it's a tail-dragger aircraft).

    @GrandmasterPotato In that case, it's just the aircraft's design. You will probably need to modify the aircraft if you want to fix the problem.

    Try taking off using lower engine power. The less thrust and acceleration, the less intense the nose-down movement will be (theoretically).
