It can be rather inconvenient to not have the power of a jet engine available in propeller-only challenges or races. Propeller engines are great, but they tend to lack the power of a turbojet or turbofan. So, today I finally made a successful attempt at creating a ducted-fan engine, which is essentially one or more propeller engines fitted into a nacelle or "duct", like jet engines. I went even further and made a post-WW2 aircraft that looks somewhat like an early model MiG jet, but instead of a jet engine, it features the new ducted fan engine, or PE-4-DF as it's named.
The aircraft can go decently fast while still using a lot less fuel than a turbojet. Along with that, the aircraft can enter WW2 challenges and propeller-only races, giving a significant advantage over other single-engine propeller aircraft.
Thoughts or suggestions? Let me know!

@Aviator01 I might try that for a jet afterburner in the future.
However, since this is a ducted-fan engine and technically not a jet engine, I most likely won't add exhaust.
Thanks for the suggestion!
If you have several XML modded beacon lights you can make exhaust too.

Challenge organizer: Nooooo! You cannot cheat the props only challenge by putting propellers in a duct to make a jet engine. You’re disqualified from all challenges! Noooooo!
.
Cheater: Haha! Ducted fan go nyooom!
