The Ice Base missile launchers are a huge problem. I get it, they want to make it difficult to enter the Ice Base. But even after you've discovered the location, this still happens. It's even more annoying when you are driving on the ground or flying anywhere past Avalanche, and they still fire missiles at you.
My suggestion is to revise the missile launchers. After you have discovered the "Ice Base" location, make it so they will only fire when you have engaged them (fired your guns or locked on to the base). Otherwise, they will not harm you.
Let me know what you think of this.
@Numbers2 The missile launchers are fun to a point when flying military aircraft. Modern ones, that is. But when you're flying a GA plane or a defenseless warbird from the 1940s, it gets really annoying.
The missiles, I think, are still a little easy for military aircraft. I think, along with the suggestions from @JeskoGoesVROOM that the Ice Base should have some sort of gun system as well, similar to destroyer guns. This would be pretty cool and be a challenge for players with many missiles and countermeasures. Also, the Ice Base should trigger some sort of AI spawning, like snow-camouflaged Simple Wasps or something similar when engaging from the Ice Base Assault location. The aircraft could fly out of the hangar to engage, that would be cool. Also, this could of course be disabled to prevent mobile players from lagging to death.
yeah, after discovering the base they should use the same system they used on the ships, where provoking them with gunfire or missile lock will make them engage you, but leaving them alone will also make them leave you alone (maybe make it so that they can lock onto a plane that you're also targeting to assist you defeat it??? idk just an idea i had), while if you haven't discovered the location before then they always attack like they do normally
Yes Of Course
@offiry I would easily would defeat the missiles with a unicorn Gundam that would make them completely silent
@JacksEpicGamingYT Why the hell would I want to recreate a tragedy in SP?
I made a solution that instantly disables ice base via AI spawning.

@Ren I'm on an old lenovo thinkpad from the 2010's
@LeaveUsAlone uau
That's a pretty god level iPad, bro
@LeaveUsAlone Try being a Chromebook player ;)
@offiry I’m on a 3 year old iPad and I only start struggling after going over 1800 parts in a plane
True change the ice map a little bit so you have more SAM missiles but I think there should be a radar dish on snow stone so if you kill that the sam missiles are dead or you can activate or deactivate the radar in settings @KnightOfRen
Yeah you want to be an airline pilot where I want to be Maverick @KnightOfRen
@Numbers2 I really shouldn't have to use my flares because I dare to fly anywhere in Snowstone. They don't take long to lock again, so with this strategy, you end up spending more time shooting flares than actual flight. Hard to have fun exploring the map when you keep getting fucking shot at.
Nah the missiles dont pose a threat see if you go out wide no lock if your in an airliner make it EL AL airlines with flares (True fact EL AL is the only airline in the world to have flares and chaff on their planes) or do a Top Gun Maverick thing fly behind the mountain and bomb the top back of the base! But the halirious thing is the missiles have very poor poor tracking and to be honest they could change the ice map a little bit so you have more SAM missiles but I think there should be a radar dish on snow stone so if you kill that the sam missiles are dead
@BeastHunter yea
@LeaveUsAlone tee hee...
I know though, I used to play on mobile and could run 500 parts, but for specific potato mobile and pc users they might have some issues
@HuskyDynamics01 That has never worked for me, they shoot anyway.
Y'all are aware that the missile launchers are passive if you spawn in the Ice Base (even if you change locations two seconds after the level loads), right?
@offiry mobile players aren’t that bad…
Add toggle switch in the menu.
Yes, I concur.
They should only agro if you spawn at the ice base assault location
@JeskoGoesVROOM This is the perfect solution
