As seen in the GIF, the aircraft's view perspective is in the far back of the aircraft. However, the aircraft is centered correctly in the designer. This issue also occurred while attempting to make a different aircraft. The flight computer is near the center of the aircraft, and is not near where the view perspective is.
Why is this happening whenever I am designing new aircraft? Is there a way to fix this?
Note: I did find a solution to the problem.
However, I would still like to know to source/cause of the problem.
@MrCOPTY This also happened with two previous attempts at making an aircraft.
The problem could be an old mod.
@TheFlightGuySP I See That, This Not Understandable
@MrCOPTY The flight computer is much farther forward than the view perspective (and the same is true for the CoM).
If you look closely, you can see the flight computer between the main wings of the aircraft.
@TheFlightGuySP You Need To Move The Cockpit A Bit Forward, Because The Orbit View Is Relative To The Cockpit Position
IDK
@TheFlightGuySP oh? Interesting all the times it’s done that to me was COM but good to know mods can do that too
@MrSilverWolf The CoM was nowhere near that far back on the aircraft. I also had the same issue with two previous aircraft attempts.
It's quite possible that the cause of the issue is an outdated mod.
I can confirm the camera is centered on where the center of mass is, which can lead to amusing camera angles
@Noname918181 It worked.
@Noname918181 I will note that the CoM is far in front of the view perspective.
I suspect it might be a glitch of some sort, but I could be wrong.
@Noname918181 Thanks! I'll try it out.
As far as I know, the view perspective location is based on where the CoM is placed, usually I'd just place the cockpit on a detacher, this makes it so that the placement is where the cockpit is
How strange.
