As you may know, SP doesn't support GNU/Linux (unless you use Proton, but many features are still missing).
I've made a guide on how to use SP on Linux here you can comment on it.

The distros i've tried are:

Ubuntu 20.04 - stock kernel - Working
Ubuntu 21.10 - stock kernel - Working
Ubuntu 22.04 - stock kernel - Worked at first, but then stopped launching
Pop!_OS 21.10 - stock kernel - Working
^ Proton 4.2-9

Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.3 - stock kernel - Not Working
OpenSUSE Tumbleweed late Jul-early Aug - stock kernel - Not Working
Manjaro Plasma 21.3.1 - Linux 5.5 kernel - Not working
Manjaro Plasma 21.3.1 - Linux 5.19f kernel - Not working
^No protons working

Missing features:

Loading blueprints from disk (necessary for custom thumbnail)
Uploading crafts to simpleplanes.com
SP freezes when computer is suspended, shows black screen
SP temporarily refuses to show after Alt+Tab on Pop!_OS
I'm sure ReShade is possible, but I just couldn't get it woking

just found this, running SP through proton on steam and thought I was the only on with the BP issue, looks like its some sorta rendering glitch so I guess there's not much I can do

@IICXLVIICDLXXXIIIDCXLVII Worked just fine, just like other mods. They just had to be moved to the hard-to-find Mods folder manually instead of the "Steam Client Bootstrapper"Handling it automatically

Did you test if overload and fine tuner work properly?
