The first user to create a plane was the anonymous creator of a simple blue plane named “Corsair”, during the times where the forum was still developing. . You cannot find out said user, and they might have moved past SimplePlanes.

The odds are low, but not zero, that it was actually a duck.
Probably Andrew or one of the other devs just to put something on the site before a sizeable amount of users joined in
