Hello! MediocrePlanes here!
Recently I finished my model of a Fletcher class destroyer (Shameless self plug). I now have a rather solid hull for other ship models. I kinda want to do a IJN WWII era light cruiser/destroyer. Does anybody have suggestions?

Lol
@Arcues Eh... I might do Yukikaze as all of the torpedo tubes on the Kuma would be a nightmare!
Yep that one
@Arcues Yes, that Yukikaze (a Kagero class), was considered bad luck to other ships, as she always seemed to survive with minimal damage while other ships were sunk or damaged heavily in operations. She survived the war and was sent as a repatriation ship to China.
Last
No the ship that escorted the Yamato in her las voyage
@Arcues Yukikaze as in "The Black Cat of the Fleet?"
Ijn Yukikaze or ijn fubuki
@General360 Found the title:
Conway's all the world's fighting ships 1922-1946
(Plus I use wikipedia)
@General360 I only know this thanks to my giant WWII book
@General360 Kitakami/Oi were the only 2 Kuma class 5500 ton light cruisers to be converted to torpedo cruisers. Kiso was planned to, but was never refitted. Later, both Kitakami/Oi were refitted to become High speed troop carriers, and near the end of the war, Kitakami was refitted as a Kaiten mothership for the anticipated defence of the home islands.
@General360 at least according to an old reference book I have
@General360 Oh. Kitakami/Oi?
@General360 Kaiten mothership?
@NovaTopaz @ValtsuAircraftIndustries Any ideas for an WWII IJN ship (Destroyer/Light Cruiser) that you want to see made in a terrible way?
I would have build my own, but currently out of my plans. Currently, all there is is getting a full model CFA-44, and maybe making other things along the way. Otherwise... Yeah...
@ValtsuAircraftIndustries I kinda want an IJN ship... considering I just did a Fletcher
