Ok, let's say you had a major issue on your plane, and you had to reupload. Or something happened and you find yourself telling people to go check out an updated post. Well, the problem is that your original upload has a gazillion upvotes and you don't want to take it down. Or something like that. Whatever the case may be, I'll show you how to redirect your posts so you never have to say "plz dont upvote my post there is a fixed version"
.
.
Step 1
find the ID of the aircraft you want to redirect to. It's that string of unintelligible letters and numbers in the URL. You'll need to highlight and copy that (Ctrl+C).
Step 2
Go to the aircraft you want to redirect From.
Click on the little "edit redirect button.
Step 3
Paste your URL from earlier and hit "submit"
.
Your Redirect is now edited! if someone tries to visit the old post, they'll be redirected to the new one.

ngl i clicked the thing before reading the whole comment
@IICXLVIICDLXXXIIIDCXLVII I can see your point, especially if you have a really fancy long description. I guess redirect is better if you are working on something and want to keep your WIP builds up to date or something like that.
I honestly prefer to just add something like this to the original post:
>UPDATED VERSION<
(it'd be a link of course)
I'm not a big fan of the redirect feature since it can be a bit annoying if you want to see the old post.
@HuskyDynamics01 Glad it helped somebody
Thanks! I was wondering how to do that.
