How does one make an amphibious plane take off from water?
Also if you want to help or remake the build to be fixed I could post the prototype.

@TheFlightGuySP
I probably be on tomorrow
@TheFlightGuySP
Oh also I kind of got inspired by this plane
@TheFlightGuySP
Oh ok
@dogooman1 That works.

@TheFlightGuySP
like this
@TheFlightGuySP
Sure how do I do that?
@TheFlightGuySP
Also should I make the plane long or short, currently it’s about 13 blocks long and 15 blocks wide
@dogooman1 Hmm. Could you tag me on an unlisted post of the aircraft? I might be able to fix the issue.
@TheFlightGuySP
They’re almost off the wing, which are almost in front of the nose
@dogooman1 Perhaps you should move the floats forward or redesign the floats so that there is less buoyant area at the rear of the aircraft (too much buoyant area at the rear of an amphibious aircraft prevents it from taking off).
@TheFlightGuySP
Thanks for the tip idk how to catorgize that
@TheFlightGuySP
But it needs to fly and there is too much lift to fly, but not enough to take off water. How do I fix that?
@dogooman1 I should also point out that it's a common misconception that "flaps" are any control surface on an aircraft. They are, however, their own independent type of control.
@TheFlightGuySP
How do you make a flap
@dogooman1 More lift will help you get off of the water easier.
@dogooman1 Ailerons control Roll, Elevators control Pitch.
Flaps are their own type of control; they increase the aircraft's lift and decrease the aircraft's stall speed, as well as acting as airbrakes.
@TheFlightGuySP
Sry forgot to press reply
Roll or pitch
In my experience, flaps tend to be really helpful in this scenario.
