The next update for SP actually overhauls the game into a softbody physics simulation, you'll need a 6 core CPU atleast to play the game. Be prepared to shell out money for a new gaming PC /j
oh and 1 more, they have another website where you can vote on a new update you want
but yes we still have active discords and I will say there is almost anything we can build,

Ah another cycle of people talking about the game is dead for 3 years, they are updating SR2 first and after that SP.
I don't see more or less players, the website is actually pretty active, SP related discord servers still have a lot going on, builds are still posted A LOT and the last update a bring so much new a awesome things that the best players just take their time to build since there's so much to do now. The game has never been as awesome as it is today. And it's not because there isn't an upvote everyday that it is dying, some people play gamesit from the 90s, do you really think they are waiting for an update ? No, they just enjoy the game for what it is, and SP is an awesome sandbox game. It will die, as every game will, but trust me, SimplePlanes is still alive and for a pretty long time.

I don't know personally, but I have heard that an update for SR2 is being worked on and after that an update is happening to SP. I've heard all kinds of things, not sure what to believe though.
I've heard the website was gonna be updated, tracks 2 was gonna be implemented, multiplayer really seems possible...Idk. don't believe it, because people on the internet are very untrustworthy.
Anyway this is a pretty typical time period between updates for SP. It hasn't even been a year yet...
