I wish the planes didn't blow up as soon as they were hit by the machine gun fire. It would be cool if every bullet destroyed the part it hit, so you could try to fight with wounded planes.

@MrVaultech True...
Key word: Movies. They, luckily, do get that right. B-17's cab take some hits and still fly, but this is SP, and it has a long way to go to get to that point.
@CyberDyneIndustries
@Skua @Lucasmah @MrVaultech I see big sides, I've seen enough WWII movies to know the B-17s got hit a LOT, but others were brought down quite quickly...
@Cjredwards Good Idea😃
@Cjredwards I totally agree!
@MrVaultech @Lucasmah @Skua oh lol makes sense! Haha
As andrew Garrison put it somewhere else: the problem isn't the whole plane explodes, just that there is typically more bullets behind it.
That is actually what happens, you can still win a fight with a couple of parts shot off. I won the WWII challenge with an engine missing a couple of days ago. The issue is that generally you don't get hit by just one bullet
Thats kinda what happens, the reason it explodes is that usually the plane is at such a speed that when broken parts impact it causes them to explode.
