A New Standard / F-16C Block 52 Viper V5.0

Halfway through the Raptor's construction, I started experimenting with some new features and decided to make a new craft instead of updating the older ones since they weren't built with those features in mind. I figured I'd start with the F-16C since it's a relatively easy build and I've built many before, so I want to see how much I've improved.

The main new thing I'm trying out is actually making bays for landing gear with flush doors. The bay is still partially filled on the inside to hide the (lack of) mechanical stuff going on.

I'm also adding wing flex. Especially on a Viper, it just didn't seem right without it. It reacts to G-force, rolling, as well as angle of attack and also wobbles when at maximum flex.

I've also been playing around with aerodynamically functioning slats. They use wings with liftScale=-1 to make the control surface increase lift when deflected downwards. And so far, it actually does increase high AOA stability, which is great for landing.

To make sure the gear doors are flush, they're actually built closed and open when you start the simulation.

And here it is seperated into sections for those curious. Overall, the build is smoother than my previous attempt.

What you see before you is sitting at 252 parts. So this will definitely be more parts than my previous one, but I'll try to keep the part count down as best as I can.

Just putting this here because I'm amazed with how this curve here turned out to be flush.

The flight model is in a pretty good spot, but the fuel consumption is funky. It lasts 50 minutes on military power, which is what I want, but I can't figure out a way for afterburner to use 8x as much fuel as it does in real life without a maxed up VTOL engine breaking your eardrums.

I know there is a fuelConsumptionRate property for the engine parts, devs. Can we have it be XML editable?

Nice. Do you understand what a persuasive essay is, the various types there are, and how to write one? If not, I'll inform you. An essay is a piece of writing having a specific purpose, usually one of persuasion or education. There are many different formats for essays. Before reading about it on this page, https://writinguniverse.com/essay-types/persuasive-essays/, I had no clue what it was. You may discover more about the various essay writing types and meanings by visiting this website.
