How do I make a piston unable to freely move

How do I make a pistol very stable and not wobble a lot

Piston* but I figured that it will be “funny” to keep pistol there

    @Hiimakeplanes strange. Must be a bug then..
    or you can try to make the shield thing as light as possible

    @Hiimakeplanes oh
    well.. this situation is clearly cause by the piston overloading then so you may probably want to either add more pistons or make the existing piston bigger.

    @Hiimakeplanes oh, well in that case, have you tried completely removing all the physics properties of that shield thing? Like have you tried removing the mass via XML?

    @IceCraftGaming no, it is activated by clicking 1 but it is super wobbly because it is pushing something huge

    @Hiimakeplanes the desc says pistol XP
    but it may be a settings thing. Is your problem the piston repeatedly extending and retracting?
