@PhilipTarpley could you add gyroscopeic stabilizers and big whells and maybe even big spring thanks if you can get one of these in the next update have a great day
In the new update for steam, is the 'save aircraft' problem going to be fixed? Because when I save an aircraft with out changing the name 'Aircraft' it won't save thé plane.
I hope the same plane can be uploaded to the same page multiple times and update some problems with the plane, without having to upload more than aircraft ^_^
The settings file has changed in the beta, and going back to the old version requires deleting the Settings.xml before starting it. The file is located at...
@Thepos What description bug are you referring to?
@RocketLL Unfortunately, we cannot have the old UI as an option, really. It has been removed entirely...and having both would take a fair amount of effort in development upkeep time.
@mattmck Regarding a map, I'm not sure when, but we will probably add a minimap back to the game (we had one it a previous beta) once issues with it are addressed.
@BoxGlow Thanks, we were wondering if people would like how the VTOL controls work now. I know some designs depended on them snapping back though.
@IateMyCrayon Thanks for the feedback. Warthunder's mouse control is kinda like an auto-pilot that flies the plane "toward" the mouse cursor instead of directing specific control surfaces. We might look into such a thing if we get enough feedback, but none of us have discussed it.
Mouse Joystick is an improvement. But this game would really, really shine if it had warthunder like controls as i've sure you guys have heard. Would definitely recommend this game to friends if it got them.
@PhilipTarpley If you've already got software to create general profiles for your stick it makes more sense to use that, but some might not have that or want to adjust the curves for the mouse joystick to have - for example - less sensitivity in the center for accuracy and more sensitivity on the outer sides for faster movement. A good way to do that is adjusting the -0.5 and +0.5 output points of the X-axis, Y-axis and Yaw-axis (creating S-curves) plus the 0 point of the Throttle-axis (increasing or decreasing exponential curves). I would suggest sliders, presets might not fit everyone's needs.
What would you like to see as options...Expo: Minimal, Standard, Aggressive, Off? Something like that? I doubt we'd add a curve editor in the game for custom expo.
I'm also thinking people who have joysticks with software/drivers capable of setting expo curves would probably not even want to enable it in SimplePlanes b/c they they'd conflict (be additive) with their default joystick settings...
@PhilipTarpley I think WarThunder has them. Not sure about DCS. Atleast it's in most Joystick programming software like Thrustmaster T.A.R.G.E.T, but it would be more convenient to have it in the game. I don't really need it, as I am fine with linear controls, but some people might like it. :)

@PhilipTarpley we all know what this game needs hover whells and big truck whells then normal whells and stuff like gyroscopeic stabilizers

God damnit i keep getting them messed up
MacBook Air uses OSX @DelphFoxFan
I'm talking about iOS, like Macbook Air
@iFalco
The settings file has changed in the beta, and going back to the old version requires deleting the Settings.xml before starting it. The file is located at...
Windows: %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\Settings.xml
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Jundroo/SimplePlanes/Settings.xml
This will wipe out level completion, graphics settings, and custom locations. It won't impact any aircraft, however.
"Why don't they update the app store version q.q"
@DelphFoxFan Are you referring to iOS or Android? We have a beta out right now. We should have the final out fairly soon...maybe even this week.
@Sniper16 lol
Why don't they update the app store version q.q

I love how the VTOL slider moves smoothly now... And it does not auto.center anymore!
Nice, but can we also have a "legacy controls" option? I'm really getting confused.
@PhilipTarpley do you think we could have a map in the near future?

@PhilipTarpley Ok. that makes sense! thanks
