I'm remaking and improving a lot of my planes and want to scale them up. Using the "fine tuner" mod I can scale up entire aircraft using the "scale" .xml parameter but this doesn't work well- particularly for wings since it seems like SP calculates wing lift based off the root/edge and leading/tip geometry parameters, result in poor lift as well as other fuselage/wing calculations being off (fuel, weight etc).
I couldn't find a mod that can scale while keeping all the other size calculations in check, so I'm wondering if anyone else has come across this problem (i cant be the only one?)? I imagine it could be possible to write some type of script or something that update the .xmls?
Thought you're gonna be away from the community fr man, welcome back! Been following you since a long time ago.
(Late but eh)
Yaay a veteran to follow!
@AlbertanPlaneMaker see, thats not it because using the scaling tool in fine tuner, just the scale attribute gets manipulated but the leading/trailing root and leading/trailing tip wing parameters stay the same
@TheCommentaryGuy Talking the "fine tuner" scaling tool or is there one built into the game?
@lemoose Just remove the check mark at the very bottom of the scaling tool
Oh I know you
Welcome back
@TheCommentaryGuy lol I'm glad someone missed me. I have the whole lemoose fleet updated but I really want to bring it all to the right scale before sharing with everyone
Back from the dead i see?
