Here's the challenge: start at location "Yeager Final Approach" and fly to a safe landing at Bandits runway on the other side of the island.
I know there have been other glider challenges in the past. Are there some more fun ones to try?

@ValtsuAircraftIndustries it's really not that hard with a decent glider. You just have to be smooooth :)
@DeezDucks they're quite fun - you can grab the Stork from my page if you like. It's the one used in the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESELP6gs-Cw
Nice estimates I might build a glider when I have time.
@DeezDucks based on my estimated average speed of ~83mph and the elapsed time of about 8 minutes from "takeoff" to touchdown, I believe the distance traveled is about 11 miles via the route in the video. After turning, my starting height was approximately 3800ft and the altitude of the spot I wound up was about 600ft, for 3200ft lost on the way. This winds up being about an 18:1 glide ratio (which is pretty modest - IRL modern gliders can do 50:1 and better).
@ValtsuAircraftIndustries did not realize that there were different names depending on OS. In any event, the video shows the locations selected. Give it a go, it's pretty fun.
@surfimp That was REALLY impressive
@ValtsuAircraftIndustries but he did go from Yeager to bandit. Thats what murphy is called on the PC version.

It's not very hard at all with a decent glider ;-) I will post a Youtube video later.
That requires likea 10:1 glide ratio or something. Really hard
