My iPad crashed today because of low storage. Now SimplePlanes has a little bit of lag but now it does not crash (it crashed today which caused my iPad to crash. I was doing something with YouTube, then it went to the Apple loading screen (the dot which goes around) then the Apple logo, then it was back. I solved this problem be deleting picture junk.
My iPad model: iPad 9 2021 version
storage: 256 gb (highest I found)
memory: 3 gb (some lag on SimplePlanes and SimpleRockets 2, okay but will crash sometimes on SR2.
original space left: 100 MB left (WHAT?????!!! EEEEEEEE DELETE!)
now: 5 gb left (delete some more) !

@PZLAerospace further research suggests to me your Ipad is not compatible with MicroSD cards anyways, im sorry about that, but icloud can hold certain amounts of files and specific types, it migh be able to help.

@PZLAerospace most of those ads are just deletion software or compression software, that can decrease the performance of your memory, far more than a MicroSD card, which is a peice of hardware that you physically insert into devices like tablets to act as a sort of USB drive, adding additional storage to the device
@Novaxomix I have seen YouTube adds about a app that can free storage up quickly, I became a interested in that and I want to download that.

@PZLAerospace a microSD card will allow you to expand your ipad's storage by up to 1 terabyte, store excess data on that like a USB drive
