Hi, I'm NotNewHere
A couple of you requested for me to build a F4U Corsair.
It is going very well so far so I thought I would tease you all a bit.
Enjoy! Coming soon!

@NotNewHere lol
@Karzigg i caved and rebuilt the canopy to look like the actual production canopy.. lol
@NotNewHere it's interesting an will admit it looks sleeker with this canopy tho make it a bit taller the canopy an several upgrades itd be a neat light ground attack
@jamesPLANESii thanks for the tip, working on eliminating the fuselage cheek behind the canopy. Good to see you're still here :)
@Karzigg I dunno, the blueprints I built from had this canopy so I went with it :shrug: lol
@jamesPLANESii yes indeed
@NotNewHere as a history nerd an history enthusiast I'd love to see any corsair with this canopy besides the F4U-4 or the original prototype as looked over my grandpa's photos of parked fighters in japan an the atolls after the war the oldest air craft seen was what I believe was a F4U-1A which had a bubble canopy
Holy damn are you oDDDynamics?
The cheek behind the cockpit though :/
You probably want to make the rear of your cockpit and fuselage differently. That fuselage blend there is... ooer.
@Karzigg if you mean the more modern bubble canopy the Corsair has in later variants, this canopy matches the F4U-1 canopy style as close as i can get.
Biggest issue is the back of the canopy an the overall canopy shape
