So, now that the mobile update is out, now we get to complain about the website! Yayyy! Anyway, here are my suggestions.
Allow us to upvote things more than twice before we have to wait.
Let us put pictures directly onto forum posts, not on imgur and a link.
Maybe a search function for just the forums, not airplanes.
Let people under 30 points upvote. (Yes, I do remember those days.)
And finally, maybe a signature? Like here and look at the bottoms of comments. That would be cool, right?
Anyway, give me more suggestions in comments!
I do think instead of having to do XML modding for logos on wings and stuff (btw could someone help with this) could you have it more like most 3d designers where you could import images (from wordpress gravatars) onto parts
@TheLatentImage yeah, you are right. Too many trolls these days! :-)
-The cool down on the votes should stay. It is no problem to go fly someone's plane for a couple of minutes and then vote it. If you do that, you'll never encounter a cool down.
-Direct pictures is a bad idea, that leaves too much room for people to abuse it.
-There should be a search function for the forums though, I do agree with that.
-I think the point limit for being able to vote should stay too, there are already too many 0 point accounts posting spam, stealing designs, and being a general nuisance. We don't need them throwing the vote balance off too. Besides, a few votes isn't that difficult to achieve provided that you build cool stuff and engage the community in a polite and constructive way.
-I'm on the fence about signatures.
