GlideLite has stated that their new aircraft is an electric propfan powered aircraft,

”The GlideLite Model 55X,” CooperFilms 001, the founder and lead designer of GlideLite, stated at the 2030 Paris Airshow, “is a work of cooperation between us, General Electric, and Boeing. The 55X uses General Electric’s new GE-55X electric propfan engine, Boeing’s new avionics and fuselage design, and GlideLite’s new wing and drag resistance technology.”
