The 1960s. An aviation engineer, Ian Yashima, proposed the idea of having robot-like machines to support infantry on the ground, being able to hover around rough terrain and having more firepower than a gunship (he actually never thought about it), and having sophisticated machinery to help with aiming (manning a gun mid-air is hard with your naked eyes). They were called MIAWs "Mechanized Infantry Assisting Walkers", or as Mr. Yashima called, "mechas". The concept failed, 9 of the MIAW models were put in museums, while the remaining one, the MIAW-10, the biggest and most powerful of the "Mechas" lie in an unknown location, possibly somewhere in the desert. But we don't know... Coming summer (bcuz yes)
