Starting in 1925, the French adopted the push-pull configuration for their strategic bombers. In fact, the French were really the only nation during the inter-war period to have a lot of strategic bombers at all, with most estimates saying around 88 dedicated, mostly based on the design I am about to talk about
Anywho, in 1935, the Farman F.220 had its first flight, and the French continued to develop it until the arguably best variant, the SNCAC F.223.3 was designed, using inline instead of radial, a 20mm autocannon for defense, and holding either a crap-ton of 50 lbs bombs, or 8 500 lbs bombs, it could get the job done. The later SNCAC F.224 variant was the first of the Allied forces' bombers to strike at Berlin in 1939, and yet almost no one mentions this beauty, and only a handful of not that spectacular ones exist, there is one good F.220, named something else, but I decided to make the first fully-functioning SNCAC F.223!
(This is where I got my paint job inspiration from, I will be adding a 20mm autocannon to the top when I'm nearly done)
Anyways, as always,
My laptop and phone take terrible images from the game, but I promise it looks a lot better lol, I also still have a bunch of stuff to do that will make it look significantly better
.
Also, if anyone has ideas for the paint I will gratefully take some lol, because this was the only one I could get to look well. I might add mini french banners down the main wing
@Bryan5 sweet!
@goboygo1 thank you so much!! Ikr? 😂
My whole thing is to try and replicate lesser-known planes
@WinsWings really!? Thank you so much!
Love To see a replica that's new, instead of more F-14's, lmao.
Looks great!

Looks awesome. Tag me when you post. I will spotlight you
@WinsWings Hey m8! I don't mean to bother you and tag you, but you are the only other person to have made a decent looking one of these on the site, and I just wanted your opinion on mine lol
